Paulette Wooten, AKA Paully Rock, has posted another remix up on Noisetrade. The remix is of the song Bless The Lord, which comes off of her 2011 album Settle Here. The song is remixed by David "Monsta" Lynch, a artist/producer that has been nominated for two Grammy Awards, six Dove Awards and has won two Stellar Awards. This remix will be on the new upcoming album that Paulette plans on releasing in October, according to her Facebook. The album is called Settle Here Remixed, which I can only assume is a bunch of songs off of her last album that are remixed. She has already released a handful of different remixes through Noisetrade that will be on the album. Read the rest of this entry

This is what Kari had to say about the lyrics to the song in CCM Magazine.
"The song comes out of Matthew 5 where Jesus says, "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill that cannot be hidden. It's Jesus that shines through us. I don't have to shine or be good at it. Jesus is good at what he does and when we're surrendered to him, we will minister to people around us, through us." Read the rest of this entry

Young Chozen has released his new mixtape Night Light. This mixtape was made as an outreach tool for the lost party culture. On it he takes songs from popular artists such as Flo Rida, Fun, T-Pain, B.O.B., Chris Brown, and many more and makes them his own giving them a positive Christian message. Taking songs about drinking, drugs, and sex and making them into something positive is a great idea.
Here is a little of what Young Chozen had to say about the mixtape "Our world right now is obsessed with the night life, this party culture has taken over everything……. I feel it's time that we leave the safety of rapping only for youth groups and do something about it…… We need to be the "Night Lights" of a culture that is dying and going to hell….. If you want something you could play anywhere at a party, club, event, for any crowd then THIS IS YOUR MIXTAPE." Read the rest of this entry
